jPOS-EE Professional Edition Program

Taking your jPOS application to the next level

The jPOS Community Edition, distributed under the GNU AFFERO GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE, is suitable for end users that do not intend to redistribute or provide as a network service their jPOS or jPOS-EE based applications, or situations where the target source code is also released under the AGPL v3.0 license as well.

Companies and institutions wishing to bundle jPOS as part of their commercial products or services can participate in our jPOS Professional Edition Program which combines a business friendly commercial license with priority implementation support and early access to our growing library of jPOS and jPOS-EE modules.

The PEP provides a direct link to jPOS development, including our internal subversion repository where you can enjoy early access to production grade modules still not available in the community edition, as well as priority support by core members of the development team.

By sharing your special needs with us, we can ensure that new jPOS modules and versions are always aligned with your requirements and goals, and that you will have a say in the jPOS future.

The jPOS Professional Edition Program is not an outsourced development service, we do not provide you a turn-key application. It's all about mentoring, coaching and timely hand-holding during your development and operation of your jPOS based projects..

By participating in the Program, you are ensuring the future of jPOS and jPOS-EE, projects you rely on for your own success. Your invaluable contribution will allow the core team of developers to grow while focusing more of their valuable time on these projects, resulting in accelerated development and even better support.

To participate in the Program, we require sign-up at the Institution and Developer levels. Each Institution designates one or more Developers as "Developer Members" of the Program. These individuals will gain full access to our resources and act as point persons between Program member institutions and the jPOS-EE creators' team.
